"I don't want them to think I don't have it all together"

Something I've heard over and over since the pandemic hit is this...  It's okay not to be okay. It's just not okay to stay there.

If you've been struggling to hold it all together and thinking that you have to put on a happy face for your family, because you know- if mom ain't happy, ain't no one happy - then let's talk!

I get it! Not only am I a therapist, I'm also a mom of six and so I know first-hand that when you don't really have it all together, it can take a huge toll on your mental health!

I'm here to tell you- it's okay to seek help. You deserve to focus on your own needs and work on you. Contrary to popular belief, moms don't have to have it all together!

If you are feeling stressed out, exhausted, and at your wit's end, know that it doesn't have to be that way.

Let me help you navigate those big feelings and find joy once again.

Current Groups

Depression: A Supportive and Confidential Exploration

In a confidential and supportive environment, members will explore the symptoms of depression and learn practical coping skills they can begin right away. Topics of discussion will include symptoms, coping skills, self-care, mindset, positive psychology, journaling, boundaries, increasing self-confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, and anger.

Caring for the Self: A Therapeutic Group for Mothers

Although self-care is vital for our physical, mental and emotional well-being, we often put our own needs aside, perceiving self-care as a luxury rather than a necessity. In this supportive and exploratory group, members will have the opportunity to share their experiences, gain feedback, and give and receive support as they journey towards greater self-compassion.

Anxiety and Stress Management for Parents

The stress and anxiety that comes with parenthood can feel heavy. You are not alone. Join us for a support group to find support in managing anxiety and stress as a parent together.

This group is open to both mothers and fathers. You are welcome to attend with or without your partner.

Frequently Asked Questions

M.A.

Onnie completely changed my life in 8 months. I could not recommend her enough. She was extremely patient and thoughtful in helping me through cognitive biases making me sad and anxious, and found me the best resources in every area of life that I was concerned about: from social life to business development. After working with Onnie, I feel significantly happier, more successful and have the ability to handle problems for myself, instead of being overcome by them. Onnie helped me reach my full potential and for that I am extremely grateful.
